Accessibility-First Web Design
When websites are made accessible, everyone benefits, users enjoy a smoother, more intuitive experience, and your site become easier to navigate and understand for all visitors.
Plus, search engines love accessible sites. When your website is well-organized and easy to navigate, it can rank higher in search results, helping you reach even more people.
Why Accessibility-First Matters
More than a billion people around the world live with some form of disability. By designing your website with accessibility in mind, you ensure that everyone, regardless of ability can use it comfortably. This inclusive approach not only expands your audience but also creates a smoother, more welcoming experience for all visitors.
The main challenge comes with how you publish your content, even the smallest oversight like forgetting to add an alt tag to a photo can make your site non-compliant with accessibility standards. That’s why Breeze provides helpful tools to monitor and maintain accessibility, making it simple to identify and resolve issues before they impact your users.
Built-in features
Breeze offers built-in tools and added services available in the app store to help keep your website compliant.
AI-powered alt text
Optimize website accessibility for screen reader users by using our AI Assistant to generate instant, relevant alt text for your images.
Keyboard navigation
Not everyone uses a mouse or trackpad to navigate a website, so Duda tries to rely on standards based browsers features, which make sure that keyboard navigational features work out of the box.
Color contrast checker
Ensure text elements are visually distinguishable from their backgrounds with a built-in checker in the Text Widget, which provides instant contrast feedback.
Hosting FAQS
What is closed-source hosting?
Closed-source hosting, often called proprietary hosting, refers to web hosting services that use software developed and controlled by a specific company or organization. Unlike open-source software, the source code for closed-source solutions is private and not accessible to the public, preventing users from modifying or distributing it. This reduces the risk of vulnerabilities being exploited by hackers, as the code remains private.
Do you offer FTP services?
No, there is no FTP or SSH access provided, which means users cannot directly access or manage server files as they might with traditional hosting.
Is there a hosting control panel?
Breeze is hosted on a platform and does not provide access to hosting control panels like cPanel or Plesk, which are common in traditional hosting environments. Breeze hosting is fully managed on AWS servers, and users interact with their sites through the proprietary dashboard.
Can you move a Breeze website and host on another server?
No, sites developed in Breeze arenot compatible with other hosting environments, similiar to other platform web builders like Wix and Squarespace.
Breeze does provide a site export option that allows you to download a .zip folder with your published site’s content, including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, images, and media files. However, e-commerce components, blogs, dynamic pages, and personalized elements are not fully included or functional in the exported files. Additionally, Breeze does not offer FTP or SSH access.
If you decide to migrate away from Breeze, we recommend rebuilding the site on your new platform, as manual migration by copying content is often the most practical approach. We’re committed to supporting you through this transition by maintaining a live copy of your site that you can access during the process.

While Breeze, which is Wild Apple's white label name for our hosting platform, primarily operates as a closed ecosystem designed to host and manage websites created within its own website builder, there may be possibilities for hosting in specific cases. If your site was developed on the same underlying platform, it could potentially be migrated to our agency with some adjustments. However, the majority of websites we handle often require a manual rebuild when transitioning from other platforms like WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, and others, due to differences in systems and the need to reorganize content for optimal performance.
